Roof & Tv Wall in Newtown Square, PA

This custom project for a homeowner in Newtown Square, PA, transformed an existing deck into a luxurious, covered outdoor living space perfect for year-round entertaining and relaxation.

We designed an A-frame style roof to create more of a homey atmosphere to the existing deck while keeping the other side open for grilling and sun exposure. We added a TV wall to create a focal point for the porch. The back of the wall is finished with a Provia veneer or equivalent, while the face and sides are covered in white vinyl shiplap. Black aluminum Hideaway brand privacy screens were installed to create a sense of seclusion and define the space. Off to the side, we added a 6-foot-long breakfast bar, perfect for morning coffee or just casual lounging. 

The homeowners, who always wanted a space to entertain outside in the fresh air, now have a beautiful and functional extension of their home
