Covered Deck in Kennett Square, PA

This client and their family loved spending time outdoors, but the existing outdoor area was unusable during much of the day due to intense sunlight. Our primary objective was to create a comfortable, shaded, and functional outdoor living space to maximize this family’s use of their backyard.

We removed the old deck and built a 1,200 sqft composite deck. The new deck incorporates multiple access points to the yard and second story, seamlessly integrating with a connecting stamped concrete walkway to create a cohesive backyard environment.  We built an A-frame style roof with a finished cathedral ceiling over a section of the deck to create a perfect place to dine during hot sunny days.
