Summary

This project illustrates the unfinished look of Ipe. Most folks prefer to finish Ipe with an oil based sealer which brings out the rich reddish look. The deck skirting installed around the perimeter of the deck not only seals the underside of the deck from varmints but also adds a real finished look.
